Note that this poster features the Transamerica logo under United Artists, but other posters do not have this logo. No one is certain why some posters do not have the TA logo (which you would expect to see on a poster from this date). However, this poster DOES have the Transamerica logo and we are 100% certain that it is a 1974 theatrical poster. Note also that this one-sheet was marked “EAST HEMI” which means it was printed for use in one half of the world (there were also posters stamped “WEST HEMI” for use in the other half of the world!). THIS WAS DUE TO THE TWO PRODUCERS (Saltzman and Broccoli) BEING UNABLE TO AGREE ON WHO SHOULD GET FIRST BILLING! They resolved this by having posters for half of the world having one of their names first, and on the other half of the world, they reversed it!
Condition: good to very good. A snipe was once glued over the ratings box at lower right (see our image). It has a small series of creases in the center upper vertical foldline (near the woman’s blonde hair – see our image). Neither of these defects are very noticeable or distracting when the poster is displayed when the poster is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance and it is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
