This event really does tick all the boxes! There is literally something for everyone. Firstly it is a movie poster and memorabilia fair with over 40 specialist dealers – including yours truly. I’ve got my hands on some fabulous rare and particularly collectable pieces which I will be bringing along. You won’t want to miss them, trust me.

The Location

Fans of the Rocky Horror Picture Show will be delighted to learn that the location is the actual mansion of Dr. Frank N. Furter, also known as Oakley Court. Since the departure of Dr. Furter the mansion has been turned into a hotel with 118 guest rooms. You can visit the fair and stay in the hotel where Brad and Janet ended up on that fateful stormy night.

The Date

The fair is on Sunday 28 October 2018 – just a few days before Hallowe’en. Combine this with the fact that Oakley Court was the home of the horror genre for three decades, and we’re in for a spooky time. This venue was a regular filming location for the British studios of Hammer and Amicus Productions, two of the top producers of horror and thriller movies. It was the backdrop for The Curse of Frankenstein, Dracula, The Reptile, and Theatre of Blood. Television favourites The New Avengers and Hammer House of Horror were also filmed there.
