A rare vintage first-release UK Quad poster for the Walt Disney classic Bambi (1942), a film released during World War II. The poster advertises the film as a “Multiplane Technicolor Feature”, referring to the innovative animation process Disney first created and first used in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). This is the only design that features illustrations from the book Bambi, a Life in the Woods by Felix Salten (the novel upon which the film was based). Later re-release posters would show the well-known Disney versions of the characters.

Condition: Excellent
Prior to linen backing, poster was in excellent condition, folded (as issued). Minor handling and edge wear with some slight discolouration on the edges. Now displays beautifully.
