A rare “Green” style Italian Four-Fogli poster from the 1967 first release of Blow-Up, directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and starring David Hemmings and Vanessa Redgrave. The striking “Green” style design is among the rarest variants from the Italian release, notable for its bold use of colour and graphic composition. In a Four-Fogli format, the poster would have been displayed in sections, creating a large, visually impactful piece that reflects the film’s avant-garde aesthetic. Antonioni’s groundbreaking film is widely regarded as a defining work of 1960s cinema, capturing the style and ambiguity of Swinging London. The story follows a fashion photographer who believes he may have unwittingly captured evidence of a murder, unfolding into a meditation on perception, reality, and the limits of truth. The film won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and remains a landmark of modernist filmmaking.

Conservation linen-backed with mainly fold line restoration. Prior to backing there were several tears and crossfold paper loss. There are three areas where writing on the verso has bled through to the front.
