Certainly among one of the most beautiful posters created for this film, Enzo Nistri’s rendering of Audrey Hepburn captures all of the charm and guile of socialite Holly Golightly. A classic romantic comedy and possibly Hepburn’s most enduring hit, the picture garnered a total of five Academy Award Nominations and the song “Moon River” won the Oscar for Best Original song. After skillful restoration, the poster has been backed on linen and has received touchup to a tear in the top border and a few small chips throughout. Still visible is a faint stain within the bottom border, and the linen has been trimmed to the edges. The majority of Nistri’s illustration, however, remains unaffected and the poster is a fantastic presentation piece.
