Goldfinger – Very Rare US Subway Poster

US Subway Poster for “Goldfinger” (1964). This is an extremely rare poster. We have never seen this format for “Goldfinger” before and believe that this is the first example ever to be offered. The poster is a bespoke creation advertising the immediate post-premiere release of the film in two New York cinemas, the DeMille and Coronet Theatres on the 22nd Dec 1964 (the film premiered at the DeMille the day before on the 21st). The print run for such a large poster for just two cinemas would have been very small so it is quite possible that this poster is the only surviving example of its kind.

Condition: Good
Unrestored, folded with a few minor edge nicks, pin holes to corners, light fold line wear and writing to reverse which does NOT show through. Overall in very good condition.
