Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It had pinholes and tears around the edges of the poster, with some of the pinholes enlarged. It had some pinholes and tears in the bottom credits area and around the letters of the title at top center, with a small stain in the “A”. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
