Chantrell not only illustrated posters but he designed them, often chose fonts, arranged the position of text and even contributed some of the tag-lines too. His illustration for this West German sex-comedy exemplifies this range of talent. Though the film was low-budget and not high art, Chantrell’s commercial instincts have to be admired. This is a rare unfolded “proof” poster.
