“Point Blank” (1967) is John Boorman’s gritty crime thriller about a ruthless crook, Walker (Lee Marvin), who is betrayed by his partner, Mal Reese (John Vernon), who leaves him for dead on Alcatraz Island. Having survived, Walker returns years later to get revenge. Sadly unattributed, the UK Quad that accompanied the British cinema release features a marvellous illustration of Marvin with artwork that is unique to the UK.
