Original vintage travel poster advertising Rome, Italy, via TWA, Trans World Airlines. Great image featuring details of the Fountain of Neptune (Fontana del Nettuno), including a carving of the Roman God of the Sea, Neptune, fighting a giant octopus by Antonio Della Bitta and a cherub boy with a sea horse carved by Gregorio Zappala, with a sketch outline of the city in the background. Artwork by American artist David Klein (1918-2005), most noted for his TWA travel advertising posters.
