Star Wars – Return of The Jedi “Starfall” – Rare Japanese

For the third chapter of the original Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi, Lucasfilm successfully chose several internationally acclaimed artists to present a varied series of designs for the Worldwide advertising campaign. The poster here is the Yamakatsu issued Style B Japanese B2 by the prominent Star Wars artist Noriyoshi Ohrai. Titled ‘Starfall’ by the artist, this design was not an official cinema poster but was sold exclusively in a small number of Japanese cinemas where the movie was playing. Due to printing difficulties, it was only available in very limited numbers and is extremely scarce. Ohri’s beautiful illustration is widely regarded as one of the best of any Star Wars posters.
