Note that subway posters were always printed in advance of a movie playing at a theater. But in the case of this subway, it had a special way that it was intended to be used! Theaters were sent four of them, one with the bottom three right sections overprinted with black and then the next one with the bottom two overprinted, and then the third one with the bottom one, and then finally one with no overprinting, and it was intended that they would first display only the one showing the “FIRST” section, and then the one showing both the “FIRST” and “THEN” sections, etc. Doing it this way a week at a time, they could spend an entire month building interest in this new Bond movie! This poster has not been overprinted at all (which certainly makes it far more attractive to display).

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has a few minor defects in some portions of the blank borders and just a few light and fine creases scattered in the poster. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and, now backed, it displays well!
