Prior to paperbacking, the insert was displayed, and the reds in it had faded somewhat (it is most noticeable in Leigh’s flesh colors and less so in Gable). It had never been folded, and it had some creases, small tears, and tiny paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The insert was well backed, but the restorer did not address the fading. The poster will display well
